The Signature Percussions Claviers de Lyon BASS 01 mallets produce a warm, deep and velvety sound, designed specifically for the low register of the marimba. The fundamental dominates naturally while the attack fades away, giving full rein to the depth and roundness of the sound.
Their very soft attack is combined with a broad, open projection. The feel remains enveloping, mellow and dense, with particularly supple, muffled nuances.
The very heavy head is specifically designed for bass marimbas: it delivers exceptional projection in the low register. This model is particularly suited to bass marimba and ensemble playing.
Available with rattan or wooden handles.
