The Chorale Very Soft Muffled 01 mallets produce a warm, velvety and deeply round sound, particularly suited to chorales, slow pieces and lyrical repertoire. Warmth naturally dominates, without ever hardening the timbre.
Their progressive attack encourages supple, expressive playing. The projection is broad and open, while the feel remains enveloping and mellow. They are particularly at ease in soft dynamics, where they allow the sound to develop with depth and naturalness.
The dense head gives the sound a full-bodied tone, foundation and depth, while naturally bringing out the fundamental.
Available with rattan or wooden handles.
