The Signature Gert François "ORCHESTRA 03F04" timpani mallets were developed for orchestral playing and the professional repertoire. They offer a luminous, warm and well-defined sound, with a bright attack that ensures excellent clarity within the orchestral ensemble.
The head combines French flannel and soft French leather, retaining the roundness and warmth of the flannel while bringing greater precision and presence to the attack. This model is particularly suited to repertoire such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
The bamboo handle, flexible and light, encourages a natural rebound and great finesse of playing. Its diameter of approx. 11 mm, combined with the grip, ensures a comfortable and precise hold.
