The Signature Gert François "ORCHESTRA 02F03" timpani mallets were developed for orchestral playing and the professional repertoire. They offer a bright, noble and balanced sound, particularly suited to passages seeking finesse, presence and elegance within the orchestral ensemble.
The 28 mm French flannel head gives a supple, precise attack, with a fine richness of tone and great command of dynamics. This model is particularly suited to repertoire such as Brahms's 1st Symphony.
The bamboo handle, flexible and light, encourages a natural rebound and great finesse of playing. Its diameter of approx. 11 mm, combined with the grip, ensures a comfortable and precise hold.
