The Signature Gert François "ORCHESTRA 05F05.5" timpani mallets were developed for orchestral playing and the professional repertoire. They offer a bright, precise and perfectly defined sound, with a clean attack that ensures excellent clarity within the orchestral ensemble.
The French leather head gives clean articulation while retaining enough roundness and depth. This model is particularly suited to passages calling for precision, presence and control, notably in repertoire such as Mendelssohn's 4th Symphony.
The bamboo handle, flexible and light, encourages a natural rebound and great finesse of playing. Its diameter of approx. 11 mm, combined with the grip, ensures a comfortable and precise hold.
