The Double Tone Medium to Very Brilliant MR12 mallets produce a bright, brilliant sound, with a precise, clean definition. The articulation emerges clearly and gains even more presence as the dynamics increase.
Their double, progressive attack evolves from a medium response towards a cleaner, livelier and more dazzling attack. The projection thus moves from a balanced level to a much more marked presence, with a responsive, firm feel. Their wide dynamic range makes it possible to obtain very expressive nuances without changing mallets.
The light head encourages fast playing that is particularly at ease in the upper register. In loud dynamics, contact with the wood becomes slightly more present, bringing extra crispness and definition.
