Seeing that pupils are starting younger and younger, I felt there was a gap in the drum literature for five- and six-year-olds. So this first volume gathers the exercises I have worked on with my youngest pupils over several years. With a friendly little character, a layout designed for children and appealing backing tracks, pupils enjoy working across a wide range of musical styles. The rhythmic progression is gentle, again suited to young pupils, and follows the CFBF syllabus.
A single player is enough, though nothing prevents several players performing it in unison.
