La clé des claviers, by Catherine Lenert, is a method book for the first years of keyboard percussion study in the first cycle: xylophone, vibraphone and marimba. It offers a varied and appealing repertoire — original compositions alongside transcriptions and arrangements of traditional and classical music — paired with preparatory exercises. Together these give the pupil a quick grasp of the keyboard and build an understanding of the different keys. The book is laid out in eleven chapters, one per key.
