Timpani Mallets special Carter - MARCH
These timpani mallets were specially developed for the repertoire of Elliott Carter, and in particular for performing "March". Their design allows you to switch effectively between a medium hard head and a wooden head, with excellent balance to make turning the mallets easier during play.
The medium hard head offers a precise, controlled attack, while the wooden head brings greater clarity and presence. This balance between the two ends allows quick, natural changes, particularly suited to the demands of this piece.
The bamboo handle, flexible and light to medium in weight, encourages a natural rebound, great finesse of playing and optimal sound development. A material traditionally valued by timpanists for its comfort and acoustic qualities.
