Timpani Mallets special Carter - MARCH

These timpani mallets were specially developed for the repertoire of Elliott Carter, and in particular for performing "March". Their design allows you to switch effectively between a medium hard head and a wooden head, with excellent balance to make turning the mallets easier during play.
The medium hard head offers a precise, controlled attack, while the wooden head brings greater clarity and presence. The balance between the two ends allows quick, natural changes, perfectly suited to the demands of this piece.
The maple handle, rigid, medium in weight and particularly sturdy, gives a more direct, stable feel under the hand. It encourages precision of gesture and a clean transmission of the attack.
