Vibraphone Mallets Classic - Very Soft - 01
The Classic Very Soft 01 mallets produce a warm, round and muffled sound, particularly well suited to musicians seeking softness, depth and richness of tone. The fundamental naturally takes over while the attack fades away, for a supple, enveloping result.
Their soft, progressive attack favours fluid, nuanced playing. The projection remains soft yet sustained, while the feel is pleasant and well balanced. They offer natural transitions between dynamics and a beautiful resonance, ideal for the most delicate passages. Their versatility also allows them to be used on marimba.
The head brings a full-bodied tone and depth, while discreetly highlighting the fundamental. The yarn, renowned for its durability and acoustic qualities, helps maintain a consistent, long-lasting sound over time.
Available with rattan or wooden handles. For vibraphone we recommend rattan: more flexible and more comfortable, it also allows the instrument's sound to develop more fully, without the colouration or vibrations characteristic of wooden handles.
