Vibraphone Mallets Signature Bart Quartier – Medium to Medium Hard
The Signature Bart Quartier Medium to Medium Hard mallets produce a bright, warm and jazzy sound, particularly well suited to musicians seeking a balance between roundness, precision and articulation.
Their clean, bright and versatile attack offers excellent legibility of each note while retaining a fine richness of tone. The projection is sustained and natural, while the feel remains responsive and well balanced. Their wide dynamic range and excellent response make them easy to adapt to many playing contexts.
The dense head brings a full-bodied tone, depth and foundation to the sound, while further highlighting the fundamental. The yarn, renowned for its durability and acoustic qualities, helps maintain a consistent, long-lasting sound over time.
Available with rattan or wooden handles. For vibraphone we recommend rattan: more flexible and more comfortable, it also allows the instrument's sound to develop more fully, without the colouration or vibrations characteristic of wooden handles.
