Vibraphone Mallets Signature Norbert Lucarain
The Signature Norbert Lucarain mallets produce a versatile, resonant sound, particularly well suited to musicians seeking a natural balance between roundness, articulation and suppleness of playing. They incorporate the patented progressive sound system developed by Resta-Jay, allowing the tone colour to evolve naturally with the dynamics and intensity of the stroke.
Their supple, progressive and versatile attack favours fluid, expressive playing. The projection is natural and singing, while the feel remains pleasant, light and well balanced. Their wide dynamic range allows natural transitions between the different dynamics.
The yarn, renowned for its durability and acoustic qualities, helps maintain a consistent, long-lasting sound over time.
Available with rattan or wooden handles. For vibraphone we recommend rattan: more flexible and more comfortable, it also allows the instrument's sound to develop more fully, without the colouration or vibrations characteristic of wooden handles.
