The Glockenspiel Aluminium 16 mm mallets develop a brilliant, crystalline and airy sound, with clean definition and great finesse of timbre. They are particularly suited to chamber music and ensemble playing.
Their lively, light attack brings excellent clarity, while projection remains moderate and well controlled. The 16 mm aluminium head offers a unique, bright and luminous tone colour, characteristic of the glockenspiel.
Available with wooden or rattan handles. For glockenspiel we particularly recommend rattan: its flexibility gives a more natural rebound and great finesse of playing.
As mallets with wooden handles are made to order, this configuration can be neither returned nor exchanged.
