Marimba Mallets Modern Touch Rubber 02
The Modern Touch Rubber 02 marimba mallets produce a warm, round and clean sound, slightly brighter than the Rubber 01. Their xylophone-type head offers a supple, balanced definition while retaining a precise articulation, particularly suited to contemporary music.
Their round, clean and precise attack brings greater clarity while preserving the warmth of the timbre. The projection remains light and natural. This model is widely used on the marimba for the works of Steve Reich, when a typical attack, great evenness and a woody sound with a little more clarity are required.
Available with wooden or rattan handles. For marimba we particularly recommend rattan: its flexibility gives a more natural rebound and allows the instrument to develop its sound fully.
As mallets with wooden handles are made to order, this configuration can be neither returned nor exchanged.
