The Signature Gert François "ORCHESTRA 01" timpani mallets were developed for orchestral playing and the professional repertoire. They offer a rich, dark and deep sound, with a very soft attack that favours roundness and blending within the orchestral ensemble.

The felt head, combined with a cork core and wound materials, gives a supple, enveloping response, ideal for passages calling for depth, warmth and control. This model is particularly suited to repertoire such as Debussy's La Mer.

The bamboo handle, flexible and light, encourages a natural rebound and great finesse of playing. Its diameter of approx. 11 mm, combined with the grip, ensures a comfortable and precise hold.
