Timpani Mallets Felt "ORCHESTRA 02" Gert François - Soft
The Signature Gert François "ORCHESTRA 02" timpani mallets were developed for orchestral playing and the professional repertoire. They offer a rich, round and full sound, particularly suited to sonorous rolls and passages requiring continuity, depth and sustain.
The felt head, combined with a cork core and wound materials, encourages a soft, enveloping attack while retaining a fine presence within the orchestral ensemble. This model is particularly suited to repertoire such as Bruckner's 4th Symphony.
The bamboo handle, flexible and light, encourages a natural rebound and great finesse of playing. Its diameter of approx. 11 mm, combined with the grip, ensures a comfortable and precise hold.
