The Signature Gert François "ORCHESTRA 04F05" timpani mallets were developed for orchestral playing and the professional repertoire. They offer a brilliant, flexible and responsive sound, particularly suited to passages calling for precision, mobility and sparkle within the orchestral ensemble.
The head combines French flannel and soft French leather, with a higher proportion of leather to bring greater clarity, precision and response to the attack, while retaining a certain suppleness of sound. This model is particularly suited to repertoire such as Stravinsky's Petrushka.
The bamboo handle, flexible and light, encourages a natural rebound and great finesse of playing. Its diameter of approx. 11 mm, combined with the grip, ensures a comfortable and precise hold.
