Vibra-Marimba Study Mallets - Medium Soft
The Vibra Marimba Study Medium Soft VME01 mallets produce a round, warm and balanced sound, ideal for supporting young percussionists as they learn the vibraphone and marimba. Their definition remains supple and mellow, with a lovely softness of tone.
Their soft, progressive attack, combined with a light projection, favours fluid, natural playing. Their light feel makes the stroke easier to control and brings great ease in the upper registers.
Part of the Study series, they are mainly suited to marimba and vibraphone. The lightness of the head favours agile playing, while the yarn, renowned for its durability and acoustic qualities, helps maintain a consistent, long-lasting sound.
Available with a choice of wooden or composite handle. Wood offers a firm hold and direct transmission; the flexible composite comes close to the feel of rattan and remains stable whatever the humidity conditions.
