Vibraphone Mallet Signature Jeffery Davis - 01 Medium Soft
The Signature Jeffery Davis 01 Medium Soft mallets offer a warm, round and velvety sound, particularly well suited to musicians seeking supple, expressive playing on the vibraphone.
Their soft, enveloped and progressive attack preserves a fine definition of each note, with a subtle balance between precision and softness. The projection remains full and sustained, while the tone retains a muffled character rich in nuance.
The pronounced weight of the head brings depth, stability and projection, while favouring a generous fundamental. The feel is pleasant, dense and perfectly balanced, allowing excellent control of the mallet in the most nuanced passages as well as in more sustained dynamics.
Available with rattan or wooden handles. For vibraphone we recommend rattan: more flexible and more comfortable, it also allows the instrument's sound to develop more fully, without the colouration or vibrations characteristic of wooden handles.
